  found out there was a madoka manga that takes place between the events of the anime and rebellion (though i am not entirely sure if it's 100% canon...) via this video essay so i decided to give it a read. i feel a little mentally ill about PMMM at the moment. will probably hopefully put it on my reading log with more thoughts once i finish it.

  got the chance to watch this in theater and in IMAX too.... so freaking good i loved this movie when i first watched it on a roku tv but the theater experience was very nice. love literally transcends time and space. so true.

  lowkey nothing burger movie. built a pretty decent suspense but ??? idk i feel like it never really did anything with it. the age gap is there for a reason and this movie does show how manipulative and dangerous these relationships can be but again. ? idk i just feel like not much happened here tbh. very pretty to look at though.

  i saw a poster for this movie online from my local theaters and i was like wtf. why is kristen stewart a BUOY and steven yeun a SATELLITE????? and that was really all the information i needed to be intrigued enough to watch the movie. that and the fact that kristen stewart was doing a straight role. so intriguing. objectively this movie is probably just okay. but man that was kind of a crazy ride for me. i definitely laughed a lot. i will say that the animation bit was a bit rough. it was giving a better version of bitmojis. but like if you think about the movie's context then you know. you can let it pass. like if this is the best they could do with the budget they had then this is a pretty decent excuse for that. but this would probably be the only thing that i would bitch about. despite the animation not being the best, i do think the movie was very pretty to look at. anyway. if you are also intrigued i recommend not knowing anything about it. i think it's way more fun that way.

  found footage excellence i don't think i've ever been this invested in a movie Like This + the setting (and characters) being in spain makes this so much fucking funny to watch and enjoy as well. you will never get a "JODER TIO PERO QUE OSTIA?????" from a blumhouse movie.

  watched this immediately after watching the first one just to have a bit more of background about what the fuck was going on (i was very very intrigued). def got what i was looking for but it will never compare to the raw thrill of the first one. i'm lowkey invested now so i might watch the other movies (which i've heard suck ass) at some point.

  very slowly watching this whenever i have some free time at night. i originally started it because on amazon prime it has the title lady oscar and i was like hmm very interesting... and when i watch the intro and it actually says the rose of versailles it suddently CLICKED. i have heard about this anime a little bit! so i'm super curious to see where it goes.

  watched it with my girlfriend! also prepping for the new movie coming out on may. the premise sounds super interesting but i will be very chill about it (i for some reason have a bit of a soft spot for these movies like yes they are very stupid and there is nothing really much going on in them but i still love them). clear rivers is so fucking gorgeous jesus.....
